Pre-action authorization and decision provenance for consequential machine actions.
Radien provides a machine-enforceable control layer that determines whether an autonomous system, AI agent, or other machine actor is authorized to take a proposed action — before the action executes.
Radien integrates with existing autonomy, C2, mission-planning, and AI systems rather than replacing them — and requires no access to model internals, weights, or training data.
Identity-bound machine and agent authority — scoped, revocable capability credentials for autonomous systems and AI agents, with delegation chains that prove who authorized what.
Mission- and policy-based constraints — geographic, kinematic, rules-of-engagement, and authority-limit constraints evaluated deterministically in the actuation path.
Configurable human-in-the-loop / human-on-the-loop authorization — approval, denial, degrade-to-permitted-alternative, and escalation, with overrides cryptographically bound to the specific decision overridden.
Denied, degraded, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) operation — fully edge-resident with signed authority envelopes and decay schedules under disconnection; records chain locally and anchor at reconnection.
Verifiable decision records — Ed25519-signed, hash-chained, RFC 3161 timestamped records verifiable by the Government without Radien's cooperation or continued existence.
In machine-to-machine and machine-to-human decision chains, the contested fact is authorization: whether a machine actor held the authority for the action it proposed or took. Radien makes that fact provable at machine speed — enabling C2 de-confliction across organizations (joint authorization proven and co-signed before commitment), operational acceptance of autonomous behavior bounded by enforceable envelopes, and after-action reconstruction from evidence rather than telemetry inference. As multiple AI-enabled services participate in operational decision workflows, the questions multiply: which machine is acting, under what delegated authority, within what policy, and with what required human authorization. Radien answers them with evidence.
The policy engine, enforcement gate, credential system, and signed record chain are built and running today in shadow (observe-and-record) and enforcement modes, and are demonstrable end to end on request. The system is platform-agnostic, MOSA-aligned with open, documented interfaces at the actuation boundary, and operates within single-digit-millisecond budgets on commodity and embedded hardware. Radien's intellectual property estate comprises 35 provisional patent applications across six families. Radien is a brand of Sentrik Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation, 100% U.S. owned and operated, and a non-traditional defense contractor.
Radien proposes observe-only technical demonstrations as a first engagement: the Authority Runtime evaluates proposed machine actions against representative workflows and produces signed authorization records, without being placed in any operational control path. This allows evaluation of the architecture at the unclassified level with no operational authority delegated to Radien.
